This site is primarily focused on ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig's disease in the U.S. and Motor Neuron disease abroad; clinically, "amyotrophic lateral sclerosis". Awareness, advocacy and keeping friends and family updated with my progress in this daily battle of living with ALS, as opposed to dying from it are my mission since being medically retired from the USAF.
